Fertilome (10513) Weed-Out Lawn Weed Killer (32 oz.)

The Weed-Out Lawn Weed Killer is a product designed to effectively control over 200 types of broadleaf weeds, including Dandelion, Chickweed, Clover, Spurge, Wild Onion, Dollar Weed, and Ground Ivy, among others. The product can be used at any time when weeds are actively growing, but for best results, it should be applied in the spring when weeds are small and growing rapidly, or in the fall to remove late-germinating weeds.

For broadcast treatments, the maximum application rate is 4 fl. oz. of the product per 1,000 sq. ft. per application, with a maximum of 2 broadcast applications per year and a minimum of 30 days between applications. The maximum seasonal rate is 8 fl. oz. of the product per 1,000 sq. ft.

Spot treatments are defined as an application area no greater than 1,000 sq. ft. per acre. The maximum application rate for spot treatments is 4 fl. oz. per 1,000 sq. ft. per application, with a maximum of 2 spot treatments per year and a minimum of 30 days between applications.

For treatment of St. Augustinegrass, Centipedegrass, and Bahiagrass, the user should mix 2/3 fl. oz. (4 teaspoons) of the product in 1 gallon of water and uniformly spray 330 sq. ft. It is important to note that the product should not be applied to these grass types when they are emerging from winter dormancy, and temperatures below 45°F within 72 hours of application may cause damage. The product should not be used on "Floratam" St. Augustinegrass in Florida.

For treatment of Bermudagrass, Buffalograss, and Bentgrass, the user should mix 1 fl. oz. (2 Tbs) of the product in 1 gallon of water and uniformly spray 330 sq. ft. Additional spray preparation instructions can be found on the product label.

For treatment of Kentucky Bluegrass, Fescue, Perennial Ryegrass, and Zoysiagrass, the user should mix 1-1/3 fl. oz. (8 teaspoons) of the product in 1 gallon of water and uniformly spray 330 sq. ft. Refer to Table 1 on the product label for additional spray preparation details.
