Weed-Out Nutsedge Control is a selective pre- and post-emergent herbicide designed for the control of broadleaf weeds, annual grasses, and sedges. This product can be used on both cool-season and warm-season grasses, including Bluegrass, perennial Rye, fine & tall Fescue, Bahiagrass, Buffalo, Carpet, Centipede, Kikuyu, Zoysia, Bermuda, and St. Augustine.

The herbicide effectively prevents the growth of several common weeds, such as Barnyardgrass, annual Bluegrass, Carpetweed, Crabgrass, annual Foxtail, Goosegrass, Henbit, Kochia, Kyllinga, and various sedges. Additionally, it can kill or suppress weeds like Clover, Dandelion, Crabgrass, Goosegrass, Ground Ivy, Henbit, Nutsedge, Puncture weed, and Spurge.

This product can be used on seeded, sodded, or sprigged turf grasses that are well-established. The first application can be made after the second mowing, once the grass has developed a uniform stand and a strong root system. Turf injury may occur if the product is applied to grass that is not well-established or has been weakened by stresses such as unfavorable weather, disease, or other factors.

For optimal results, multiple applications may be necessary throughout the year, as long as the total amount applied does not exceed the maximum application rate for the specific turf type or 8.25 fl. oz./1,000 sq.ft. per calendar year, whichever is lower. In Bermudagrass lawns, sequential applications of Weed-Out Nutsedge Control may be required for season-long control of yellow nutsedge, but no more than 2.75 fl oz./1000 sq. ft. should be applied per application.

The product contains 1.36% Sulfentrazone and 2.73% Prodiamine as the active ingredients, which work together to provide effective control of the targeted weeds. The ready-to-spray formulation makes application quick and easy - simply attach the hose and spray. One pint of the liquid concentrate can treat up to 5,800 square feet of lawn or turfgrass.
